Hmm, Merkel has been appointed Chancellor. Don't think this is too good. She models herself on Maggie Thatcher apparently. For the misguided amongst you that is a BAD thing. She also backed the Iraq adventure, favours deregulation and wants to lower taxes. Not really notching up reasons for me to like her. At least the SPD have managed to get 6/10 cabinet seats. Mwah hahaha!
